NEW YORK -- August 27, 2004 ? 18 hungry, smart new "Apprenti" will enter the boardroom on September 9 (8:30-10:00pm ET) during the second season premiere of NBC's breakout hit "The Apprentice." Candidates this season sport degrees from some of the most prestigious universities in the country and hold high profile jobs in law, real estate, investment, sales and marketing. "They are the best and brightest America has to offer," said Donald Trump.

Once again Donald Trump splits the 18 candidates into two teams of 9, men vs. women. After meeting Trump, George, Carolyn and each other for the first time, they move into their luxurious new suite and immediately begin to create team names. They will work with Mattel executives to develop and test the new toy. The team that creates the most marketable toy will be declared the winner.
