Own a Piece of Malibu and a Piece of Television History! Units in 'The Complex: Malibu' to Be Auctioned Off to the Highest Bidder on Saturday, October 2

[via press release from FOX]

OWN A PIECE OF MALIBU AND A PIECE OF TELEVISION HISTORY! UNITS IN "THE COMPLEX: MALIBU" TO BE AUCTIONED OFF TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2

Opening Bid for Each Unit Starts at $500,000 Auction to be Featured on the Season Finale, Monday, Oct. 4 on FOX

On FOX's THE COMPLEX: MALIBU, eight couples have been working all summer long to renovate four units in a condominium complex in Malibu, CA. The units will be sold at a reserve auction, which will be open to the public and media, on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 1:00 PM at 1550 Pacific Coast Highway (at the canopy on the beach just north of the pier in Santa Monica, CA). The auction will be featured on the season finale of THE COMPLEX: MALIBU airing Monday, Oct. 4 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Each condo commands a knockout 180-degree ocean view from almost every room. The units range in size from 1,150 square feet to 1,450 square feet. All the units have two bathrooms; three have two bedrooms and one has three bedrooms.

The unscripted series began with eight couples who were split into two groups, Upper and Lower Complex, and competed for the opportunity to restore and redecorate one of four units. Under tight deadlines, the couples battled each other for control of the units while trying to add the most value to each of the rooms. After each room was completed, a panel of real estate professionals an interior designer, a real estate agent and an architect ranked the rooms from best to worst. Meanwhile, the couples decided which pair from their group to evict weekly. The team responsible for the room that judges felt brought the least amount of value to the complex each week lost a couple, until four now remain.

Tune in on Friday, Sept. 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) to find out which four couples by scheming, lying, arguing oh, and hard work remain in the game and are eligible for the grand prize. The couple whose unit nets the highest-percentage profit will receive the profits from ALL of the units.

Premiere Estates Auction Company co-founders Edward Kaminsky and Todd Wohl assist property owners in achieving the maximum value possible for their unique and prestigious properties. Premiere's auction methodology creates a highly competitive bidding forum unlike the traditional real estate selling process. Kaminsky has been recognized as one of the top-100-producing real estate agents out of over 1 million real estate agents nationally. For over 16 years, Wohl has sold hundreds of millions of dollars of real and personal property for major corporations, banks and individuals.

THE COMPLEX: MALIBU airs Fridays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX and is produced by FremantleMedia North America, Inc. Ted Haimes ("Married By America," "Temptation Island," "The History of Rock 'n' Roll") is executive producer.
