"FRANKENSTEIN'S" MONSTER IS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS
"I knew what I was getting into because of 'Blade II,' says Luke Goss about the
marathon makeup sessions that morphed him into Nomak, leader of a deviant species of
vampires. In "Frankenstein," the Hallmark Channel Original miniseries based on Mary
Shelley's horror classic, Goss is once again transformed - this time into the challenging
role of Creature.
"It took about five hours each day," the actor explains about the grueling
makeup process he endured daily while on location in Slovakia. "I'd have to be patient.
I'd meditate and zone out. Sometimes I'd get an hour's sleep."
To keep himself amused and in good spirits, Goss hired local entertainers to
juggle and sing local Slovakian tunes. But "it wasn't fun," the actor admits. "It was five
hours of torment."
For his female fans not to see the real Goss - who is devastatingly handsome -
now, that's the real torment!
"Frankenstein" premieres Tuesday, October 5 and Wednesday, October 6 (9/8c)
on Hallmark Channel.
