JANET JACKSON TO BE GIVEN RADIO LEGEND AWARD DURING THE 2004 RADIO MUSIC AWARDS LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS ON OCTOBER 25

Nominees include Beyonc, Usher, Matchbox Twenty, Outkast, 3 Doors Down, Santana, Tim McGraw and many more

BURBANK, Calif. -- September 29, 2004 - On Monday, October 25, the biggest names in music will be in Las Vegas to celebrate their successes at the 2004 Radio Music Awards live from the Aladdin Casino Resort, the future home of Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thought of by the music industry as the Golden Globes of music award shows because of its casual party-style, this year promises to be even bigger than last with Janet Jackson being recognized for her success with the Radio Legend Award.

Last year, P.Diddy, Nelly and Murphy Lee, Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Jewel and more brought down the house with their incredible performances and Michael Jackson made a rare, memorable appearance. This year promises to be just as fun and more exciting than last with a stellar list of performances and presenters (to be announced at a later date).

Anthony Eaton, Von Freeman, Paul Joseph and Dave Broome are executive producers of this special from Tall Pony Productions.
