'APPRENTICE' CANDIDATES TRAVEL TO QVC TO SELL NEW PRODUCTS LIVE ON TELEVISION (OCTOBER 7, 9-10PM ET)

JOHN MCENROE AND ANNA KOURNIKOVA MAKE A CAMEO APPEARANCE

NEW YORK -- October 5, 2004 -- The remaining 14 candidates on NBC's "The Apprentice" (Thursday, Oct. 7, 9-10pm ET) travel to QVC headquarters in West Chester, PA to create and execute an on-air sales campaign for a new QVC product. In this episode which features cameos by tennis ace Anna Kournikova and legend John McEnroe (CNBC's "McEnroe"), each team first decides on a product to showcase then they must establish a price and a sales strategy. Afterwards, they select two team members to sell the product for 12 minutes live on QVC. The team with the highest gross profit during this time period wins.

Two members of "Mosaic" disagree markedly on a price point and the project manager for "Apex" attempts to bring motivation and structure to the chaos from the past two weeks. In the boardroom, one of Trump's favorites is put on the defensive and George& Carolyn expose some major weaknesses on the losing team.

"MOSAIC": Pamela, Raj, John, Chris, Kelly, Andy, Wes, and Kevin
