King World Renewals for 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' Through 2010-2011 Season Reach 60% of the Country

KING WORLD RENEWALS FOR "THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW" THROUGH 2010-2011 SEASON REACH 60% OF THE COUNTRY

Santa Monica, CA, October 13, 2004 � King World Productions has renewed The Oprah Winfrey Show through the 2010-2011 season on stations representing more than 60% of the country, it was announced today by Roger King, CEO, CBS Enterprises and King World Productions, which distributes the series.

"Oprah's one-of-a-kind, and she proves it everyday," said King. "The Oprah Winfrey Show is better than ever, and stations continue to be thrilled with its outstanding performance. We're excited to have already secured so many key renewals this early in the process, and to continue our collaboration with our station partners."

It has remained the number-one talk show for 18 consecutive seasons, winning every sweep since its debut in 1986. It is produced in Chicago by Harpo Productions, Inc. and syndicated to 212 domestic markets by King World and 108 countries by CBS Paramount International Television.
