BRAVO APPLAUDS RISING CULT FAVORITE 'DAN FINNERTY AND THE DAN BAND' WITH NEW CONCERT SPECIAL

Concert Special Taping in Los Angeles on October 20 and October 21

BURBANK, Calif. -� October 14, 2004 �- Bravo has signed the cult favorite Dan Finnerty and the Dan Band � catching the critically acclaimed group as its media profile is rising -- for a one-hour concert special slated to air in 2005. The special will tape Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21 at Avalon Hollywood (1735 N. Vine St., Los Angeles). Dan Finnerty and the Dan Band is the result of actor/singer Finnerty's initial fascination with karaoke that spiraled into a new phenomenon that has garnered rave reviews from the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Daily Variety and Premiere magazine. Entertainment Weekly paid homage to the band by calling its concerts as "The hottest ticket in Hollywood..."

Focusing only on songs originally performed by women, Finnerty and his all-guy band blow through such femme-favorites as ABBA, Salt-n-Pepa, TLC, Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Alanis Morrisette and others.

Finnerty � who plays to sold out, celebrity-filled crowds from Los Angeles to New York -- caught America's attention as the foul-mouthed wedding singer in the box-office smash "Old School" (performing his now-infamous rendition of "Total Eclipse of the Heart"). He also appeared as the sleazy bat-mitzvah singer in the feature version of "Starsky & Hutch" and in "The Terminal."

The special will be produced by Coming Home Studios, Wonderland Sound and Vision, and DreamWorks Television.
