SISTERS WITH NEW FACES FACE OFF ON "THE SWAN" MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, ON FOX

Two sisters from California, Gina of La Mirada and Kari of Placentia, are transformed into "Swans" through cosmetic surgery and an intensive "boot camp" of exercise, diet, therapy and inspiration but one sister has no idea that the other is part of the Swan program on THE SWAN Monday, Nov. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Thirty-one-year-old Gina is single and directs the after-school program at an elementary school. Kari, too, is single, 24 years old and a bookkeeper's assistant. Despite the seven-year age difference, the sisters are very close and became even more so after their parents' divorce.

Gina and Kari have not been permitted to see themselves in a mirror during the three-month transformation process until the episode's dramatic final reveal when Kari first learns that Gina is a Swan contestant, and both sisters find out that they are competing with each other for a spot in the Swan Pageant. One sister will be selected to move on to the 2nd Annual Swan Pageant and one will go home.

Self-proclaimed "ugly ducklings" are given the unique opportunity to realize their dreams on THE SWAN, an unscripted series that turns a fairy tale into reality. THE SWAN takes women who are stuck in a rut and revitalizes them by discovering their beauty and confidence. It offers them an incredible opportunity to undergo physical, mental and emotional transformations and follows them through the process. This groundbreaking series culminates in a spectacular pageant in which one woman ultimately is crowned "The Swan."

Created by Nely Galn, THE SWAN is produced by FremantleMedia North America, Inc. and GALAN Entertainment in association with A. Smith & Company. Arthur Smith and Nely Galn serve as executive producers. Kent Weed is co-executive producer.
