MICHAEL GELMAN TO GUEST STAR ON ABC'S "HOPE & FAITH"

Executive Producer of "Live with Regis and Kelly" Will Play Regis Philbin's Son

Michael Gelman, executive producer of the top-rated morning talk show, "Live with Regis and Kelly," joins his two stars, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, when he guest-stars on Ripa's ABC comedy series, "Hope & Faith." In the episode, to be taped the week of December 6 and entitled "Another Car Commercial," Gelman plays Hal Jr., the son of Handsome Hal (Philbin, reprising last season's role), the owner of a car lot who has to deal with an irate and daffy customer - Faith (Ripa) -- who wants to return her lemon of a car.

As previously announced, Mark Consuelos, who is married to Kelly Ripa in real life, also guest stars in the episode as The Gooch, a former major league pitcher who has moved next door to the Shanowskis.

"Hope & Faith" stars Faith Ford as Hope, Kelly Ripa as Faith, Ted McGinley as Charley, Megan Fox as Sydney, Macey Cruthird as Hayley and Paulie Litt as Justin. The series airs Fridays (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
