HALLMARK CHANNEL HITS 65 MILLION MARK

Detroit Market Leads New Launches

Hallmark Channel today announced that it is now seen in 65 million homes, up nine million homes in 2004, and almost 35 million homes since its launch in August 2001. Recent launches in markets served by Comcast, Time Warner, Adelphia, NCTC members, and Midcontinent, among others, include systems in the Detroit, MI; Prince George, VA; Bismark, ND; Augusta, GA; St Augustine, FL; Immokalee, FL and Key West, FL.

Earlier this year, Hallmark Channel launched in a number of large DMAs such as Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD. In addition Hallmark Channel experienced continuing rollouts in previously launched markets such as New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, among others, as well as substantial growth on the DirecTV and Echostar services.
