JUDGES SET FOR SECOND ANNUAL PAGEANT ON "THE SWAN"

Carnie Wilson, Dayanara Torres and Others to Judge Finalists on the Season Finale Monday, December 20, on FOX

Rated the No. 1 pageant on any network in its first season, the Swan Pageant returns on the second season finale of THE SWAN, next Monday, Dec. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Performer Carnie Wilson, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, US Weekly's Ken Baker, LA Models' Crista Klayman and producer/author and motivational speaker Larry Thompson will judge the finalists on their beauty, poise and overall transformation inside and out, and crown one of them "The Swan." With the crown comes over $300,000 in cash and prizes.

THE SWAN takes women who are stuck in a rut and revitalizes them by revealing their beauty and confidence. It offers them an incredible opportunity to undergo physical, mental and emotional transformations and follows them through the process.

Sixteen women competed for a place in the 2nd annual Swan Pageant, but only nine made it. Eight finalists were selected in advance of the pageant and the ninth, the wildcard, will be revealed on the season finale. Only the most beautiful and transformed women are selected to compete in the pageant and further their chances of being crowned "The Swan" during the dazzling, suspense-filled finale.

Carnie Wilson, daughter of legendary Beach Boy founder Brian Wilson, has a varied career as a singer, songwriter, actress and TV talk show host. As a member of Wilson Phillips, she achieved first album success with three No. 1 hit singles, including the song "Hold On." Wilson recently rejoined Wilson Phillips for a new CD that was released in spring 2004. In summer 2005, Wilson will record her first solo CD, titled "For the First Time."

Miss Universe 1993, Dayanara Torres is an actress and model who has starred in 12 films in Latin America and Asia and most recently appeared on "The Young and the Restless." Already a legend on her home island of Puerto Rico, the 30- year-old single mother has become a role model to many.

Ken Baker is the author of two books and the West Coast Executive Editor of US Weekly. He also appears as a frequent entertainment newsmagazine show commentator. Baker's memoir of his 12-year battle with a brain tumor, "Man Made: A Memoir of My Body," earned him critical praise. In his book "They Don't Play Hockey in Heaven: A Dream, a Team and My Comeback Season," Baker chronicled his 2001-2002 season as the oldest rookie in professional hockey, playing goaltender for the Bakersfield Condors and Quad City Mallards.

Crista Klayman is Director of Runway at LA Models. Her corporate clients include Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Missoni, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. She has over 100 male and female models on her roster and is considered to be the top runway agent.

Larry Thompson, Hollywood film producer, personal manager, author and motivational speaker, is founder and President of the Larry Thompson Organization. Thompson has managed the careers of over 200 stars and produced movies for television, motion pictures, television series and specials. A motivational lecturer and author, he has written a new self-help book, "SHINE: A Powerful 4-Step Plan For Becoming A Star In Anything You Do," published last month by McGraw-Hill.

Created by Nely Galn, THE SWAN is produced by FremantleMedia North America, Inc. and GALAN Entertainment in association with A. Smith & Company. Arthur Smith and Nely Galn serve as executive producers. Kent Weed is co-executive producer.
