[via press release from Bravo]

THE THIRD SEASON PREMIERE OF 'QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY' TURNS MORE HEADS THAN ANY OTHER BRAVO TELECAST

THE THIRD SEASON PREMIERE OF 'QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY' TURNS MORE HEADS THAN ANY OTHER BRAVO TELECAST OF THE 2004-05 TELEVISION SEASON

BIG VIEWER CURIOSITY IS PIQUED BY AN 11 P.M. SNEAK PEEK OF 'QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GIRL,' BRAVO'S #3 HIGHEST RATED TELECAST OF THE SEASON IN 18-49

QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY WAS THE #1 RATED HOUR-LONG ORIGINAL PROGRAM FOR THE ENTIRE DAY ON BASIC CABLE AMONG A18-49 AND A25-54 AND TOTAL VIEWERS

New York City - January 12, 2005 - The return of Bravo's Emmy-winning "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" pulled in a 1.42 HH rating and drew 1.5 million total viewers for the show's third season premiere, making it Bravo's highest rated program for the season (9/27/04 - 1/11/05) in households, total viewers, and its key demos (A18-49, A25-54) and lifted the network to the #4 ranking for the hour (10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. ET) among all basic cable networks in adults 25-54, women 25-54 and women 18-49, and #6 among adults 18-49. It was also the #1 hour-long original program for the entire day on basic cable among adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

"We are very pleased with the performance of our 'Queer Eye' one-two punch," said Bravo President, Lauren Zalaznick. "The premiere episode of 'Straight Guy' represents the reinvigorated lineup of stories and adventures the Fab 5 have in store for this new series and the fact that so many stuck around for an early look at 'Straight Girl' is phenomenal as we look to its primetime series premiere tonight."

With 1.01 million adult 18-49 viewers and 985,000 adult 25-54 viewers, last night's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" more than doubled its fourth-quarter averages in adults 25-54, adults 18-49, households and total viewers and more than tripled Bravo's overall primetime average for 2004 in 18-49, 25-54 and total viewers.

Additionally, the special sneak peek of "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl" (11:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.), grabbed Bravo's highest numbers in the Tuesday time period in more than a year, since December 16, 2003, when a behind-the-scenes special on the making of the "Queer Eye" music video premiered. 'Straight Girl' was the network's #3 highest rated telecast of the 2004-05 season to date in 18-49 viewers, behind only its "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" lead-in and last week's telecast of "Project Runway." Additionally, it is the network's top premiere/preview since December 2, 2003 ("Celebrity Poker Showdown" in 18-49 and 25-54).

The season premiere episode of "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl," featuring the drab-to-fab Nicole Huntington, debuts tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, which will remain its regular timeslot.
