MTV Takes The Runway With Jennifer Lopez For Her First-Ever Fashion Show

�Jennifer Lopez: Beyond the Runway� Set to Air on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 10PM (ET/PT)

New York, NY, January 19, 2005 � MTV and Jennifer Lopez take over the runway for her FIRST-EVER fashion show spectacular showcasing Jennifer�s new fall clothing line. �Jennifer Lopez: Beyond the Runway� is an hour-long MTV special that will give viewers unprecedented access to this triple-threat star through interweaved documentary footage showing Jennifer�s very hands-on approach to running her company, while juggling her already demanding schedule. �Jennifer Lopez: Beyond the Runway� is set to air on Thursday, February 24, at 10PM (ET/PT).

In this exclusive special, MTV cameras will capture Jennifer�s vision for the line�s overall �look� and �feel� and her meticulous involvement in the styling choices and choosing the models. Viewers will be privy to all the intricate details, including how the team works, the deadline pressures, the approval process and dramatic creative redirections. The special will ultimately culminate in an eye popping and star-studded event, the most anticipated fashion show at Olympus Fashion Week.

�We�ve been there during Jennifer�s dynamic career in music and film, and now she�s well on her way to conquering the fashion world,� said Tom Calderone, Executive Producer. Jennifer Lopez, who has sold over 35 million records worldwide, emerges with the highly anticipated new album entitled, Rebirth on March 1st. In 1999, she released her debut album, On The 6. The album was a resounding success and was certified six times platinum worldwide, spawned the No. 1 hit single, �If You Had My Love,� and introduced Jennifer to a whole new legion of fans.

When Jennifer released, J.Lo, she made history, claiming the No.1 spot for her album and her movie, �The Wedding Planner.� J.Lo was a runaway hit, certified seven-times platinum worldwide and soaring to No. 1 on the album charts. The release of her remix album, J To The L-O! The Remixes, proved to be an event, debuting at No. 1 with the help of the No. 1 single, �Ain�t It Funny,� featuring Ja Rule. This is the biggest selling remix album of all time, with over 2.5 million copies worldwide.
