Top 12 Finalists Will be Revealed on Wednesday, March 9, on FOX

The phenomenal fourth season of AMERICAN IDOL continued with another dramatic episode last night, as the four contestants who received the lowest number of votes were eliminated from the competition. The AMERICAN IDOL journey has ended for David Brown, Aloha Mischeaux, Joseph Murena and Celena Rae. Brown, from New Orleans, LA, sang "All in Love is Fair," while Mischeaux performed "You Don't Know My Name." Murena, who currently resides in New York, entertained the audience with "Let's Stay Together," and Rae, from Fort Worth, TX, sang "When the Lights Go Down."

Next week, the Top 8 guys (Bo Bice, Anthony Fedorov, Constantine Maroulis, Anwar Robinson, Scott Savol, Nikko Smith, Travis Tucker, Mario Vazquez) will take the stage again, singing live for America on Monday, March 7 (8:00-9:00 PM live ET/tape-delayed PT). Then it's ladies' night on FOX, as the Top 8 girls (Amanda Avila, Lindsey Cardinale, Janay Castine, Mikalah Gordon, Jessica Sierra, Vonzell Solomon, Nadia Turner, Carrie Underwood) perform live in hopes of winning America's vote on Tuesday, March 8 (8:00-9:00 PM live ET/tape-delayed PT). Tune in the following night to see who America has chosen to be the Top 12 AMERICAN IDOL contestants. Another two guys and two girls will be eliminated on the live results show Wednesday, March 9 (9:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
