BRAVO ANNOUNCES SPRING LINE-UP FOR 'INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO'

THE CAST OF 'EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND,' MICHAEL J. FOX, SIR ELTON JOHN, JANE FONDA ANGELINA JOLIE AND DAVID DUCHOVNY AMONG THOSE SECHEDULED TO SHARE THEIR CAREERS AND CRAFT ON BRAVO'S 'INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO' THIS SPRING

NEW YORK -- March 4, 2005 -- Bravo continues the eleventh season of its longest-running original series "Inside the Actors Studio" with a diverse ensemble of guests. Scheduled to join James Lipton on the New School stage this season are Angelina Jolie, David Duchovny, Jane Fonda, Michael J. Fox, Sir Elton John and the cast and creator of "Everybody Loves Raymond." These shows will be taped this spring to air later this year.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," has been a family favorite of comedic television. Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Doris Roberts, Brad Garrett and Peter Boyle will be joined by series creator Philip Rosenthal. The series, which is based on the life of sports writer Ray Barone (Ray Romano) and his family, has proved a running success after nearly a decade on air. It has been nominated for 65 Emmy Awards, winning 12, including Best Comedy Series. The family comedy will conclude its incredible nine-year run during a final farewell on its 210th episode.

Michael J. Fox first achieved stardom during his role as Alex P. Keaton on the hit sitcom, "Family Ties." His obvious talent awarded him three Emmys during the course of the series. A gifted actor, Fox has starred in successful roles in "Back to the Future," "Teen Wolf," "The Secret of My Success," "Light of Day," " Bright Lights, Big City" and "Casualties of War." While filming the series "Spin City," Fox announced he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Dedicated to finding a cure, Fox launched the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in May of 2000, and continues to raise awareness on a global scale.

When Sir Elton John first entered the music scene in the early 1970's, he became a revolutionary performer in the pop genre. Between 1972 and 1975, John had seven consecutive number one albums. His most notable hits include "Rocket Man," "Tiny Dancer," "Candle In The Wind," and "Daniel," among many more. He has overcome considerable amounts of media scrutiny of his sexual orientation, battled with bulimia, and overcome his dependencies on drugs and alcohol.

Jane Fonda is regarded as one of the best actresses of her generation. Daughter of screen legend, Henry Fonda, her career milestones include her Oscar-winning roles in "Klute" and "Coming Home," as well as "The China Syndrome," "Stanley and Iris," and "On Golden Pond." She has received an Emmy and six Golden Globe awards during her career. Fonda attended Vassar College before working under the instruction of Lee Strasberg at the Actors Studio in New York City. It could be argued Fonda played her most serious role during her much publicized personal interest opposing U.S. involvement in Vietnam in the 1970's.

Growing up in Los Angeles, Jolie was no stranger to the film industry, being the daughter of Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight. She later trained and performed at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, where she was seen in several stage productions. She worked as a professional model in London, New York and Los Angeles, and has also appeared in music videos for such artists as Meatloaf and Lenny Kravitz. With an Academy Award, three Golden Globes and an Emmy nomination to her credit, Jolie has appeared in the films "Hackers," "Gia," "Pushing Tin," "The Bone Collector," "Girl, Interrupted," "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and "Alexander" among others.

While pursuing a Master's degree in English Literature at Yale, David Duchovny began commuting to New York to study acting. When he began appearing in off-Broadway plays, Duchovny's fervor for the stage caused him to drop out of school and pursue his acting career. Duchovny is best known for his role as Agent Fox Mulder on the groundbreaking hit, "The X Files." His film credits include "Working Girl," "Julia Has Two Lovers," "The Rapture," "Kalifornia," and the romantic comedy, "Return to Me." Duchovny is a Golden Globe and American Comedy Award winner, and has been nominated for 4 SAG awards, 4 Golden Globes and 2 Emmys for his role as Mulder. Premieres Monday, March 7 at 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.

"Inside the Actors Studio," which is now seen in 125 countries, was launched in April 1994 with Academy Award-winning actor and longtime Actors Studio President, Paul Newman. For the past ten years, the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University has opened its doors for a series of evenings featuring major actors and directors who discuss their craft and share the secrets of their artistic achievements.
