Legend�s First Televised Concert Premieres Sunday, March 27th at 7 p.m.*

New York, NY, March 10, 2005 � Oxygen is set to spread its own urban legend when it airs the �John Legend Custom Concert Featuring India.arie� on Sunday, March 27th at 7 p.m.* In his first televised solo show, the soul sensation joins with R&B songstress India.arie to perform chart toppers and special selections from his debut album �Get Lifted� during an exclusive concert taping in New York City on Tuesday, March 22nd.

Considered one of the most talented rising R&B and soul performers of our time, John Legend marks Oxygen�s continuing commitment to promoting distinctive and emerging performers through its ongoing concert series.

Beginning Friday, March 11th through Sunday, March 20th, viewers can log on to www.oxygen.com to cast their votes on the order of songs Legend will perform including the smash hits �Ordinary People,� and �Used to Love You.� Fans will also have the opportunity to vote on a duet performance by Legend and India.arie and will be able to post online questions for Legend to answer throughout the show.

A singer, songwriter and piano player, Legend has provided backup vocals and piano accompaniment for artists such as Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson and Jay-Z. Legend�s first album �Get Lifted� has remained one of Billboard�s top 10 albums sold nationwide since its debut December 28, 2004. Infused with a distinctive brand of classic soul, and varied collaborations such as Kanye West and Snoop Dogg, the album has sold over 1.2 million copies worldwide, going platinum as of February 2005. Fresh off of his 2005 Grammy Awards performance with gospel great Mavis Staples, he is currently opening on tour for R&B artist Alicia Keys.

An accomplished singer, songwriter and acoustic guitar player, in 2001 India.arie seamlessly blended neo-soul, R&B, folk and blues to create her debut hit album �Acoustic Soul.� The album debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard national album chart, went on to multi-platinum status and earned India.arie seven 2002 Grammy Award� nominations.
