HEATHER LOCKLEAR TO GUEST-STAR ON ABC'S "BOSTON LEGAL"

Heather Locklear ("Spin City," "Melrose Place," "The Perfect Man") will guest-star in a two-episode arc of "Boston Legal," currently scheduled to air during the upcoming May Sweep, it was announced today. Locklear will play Kelly Nolan, a splashy, exotic murder defendant -- dubbed by the media "The Black Widow" -- whom Alan Shore (James Spader) and Brad Chase (Mark Valley) represent when she's charged with poisoning her older husband.

"We're thrilled to be working with Heather again. Her humor, sex appeal and mischief make her perfectly suited for 'Boston Legal.' She's so cool and mysterious, even I can't tell if she did it," said creator and executive producer David E. Kelley.

Fast-paced and darkly comedic, "Boston Legal" focuses on the professional and personal lives of a brilliant but often emotionally challenged brigade of high-priced attorneys. The series confront social and moral issues while its characters continually stretch the boundaries of the law, and airs Sunday nights (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Boston Legal" stars James Spader as Alan Shore, Monica Potter as Lori Colson, Rhona Mitra as Tara Wilson, Mark Valley as Brad Chase, Rene Auberjonois as Paul Lewiston, with Candice Bergen as Shirley Schmidt and William Shatner as Denny Crane.

"Boston Legal" was created by David E. Kelley. Kelley, Bill D'Elia and Scott Kaufer are executive producers. The series is produced by David E. Kelley Productions in association with Twentieth Century Fox Television.
