ANTHONY FEDOROV IS ELIMINATED FROM THE "AMERICAN IDOL" COMPETITION

Countdown to Crowning of Next American Idol Continues; Final Three Contestants Will Compete Tuesday, May 17, on FOX

The No. 1 series on television continued its phenomenal season Tuesday night when the remaining four AMERICAN IDOL finalists performed country songs as well as R&B hits by the songwriting/producing team of Gamble and Huff. America voted to determine who will remain in contention for the AMERICAN IDOL crown, and on last night's results show, Anthony Fedorov was eliminated from the competition. Fedorov, from Trevose, PA, sang "If You Don't Know Me By Now" and "I'm Already There" on Tuesday.

Next week, the excitement builds when the Final Three � Bo Bice, Vonzell Solomon and Carrie Underwood � compete head to head on the live AMERICAN IDOL performance show Tuesday, May 17 (8:00-9:00 PM live ET/tape-delayed PT).

Tune in the following night to find out who America has chosen to be the final two contestants on the live results show Wednesday, May 18 (9:00-9:30 PM live ET/tape-delayed PT) on FOX.
