USA Network's Hit Series MONK Helps Clean Up Los Angeles Streets With Free Car Wash Fridays

The Fourth Season Premieres Friday, July 8 at 10:00 PM ET/PT

LOS ANGELES, June 20 -- In a move that would please Adrian Monk, the obsessive-compulsive genius detective at the center of USA Network's hit and critically-acclaimed series MONK, drivers in Los Angeles will be able to clean up their act. Compliments of USA, free car washes will be available to the first 120 customers on Friday, July 1, July 8, and July 15 at the following locations and times:

Lincoln Car Wash & Detail 1624 Lincoln Bl., Santa Monica Noon - 2:00 p.m.

Sunset Car Wash 7955 Sunset Bl., Los Angeles Noon - 2:00 p.m.

Lakeside Car Wash 3700 Riverside Dr., Burbank 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Robertson Car Wash 2460 S. Robertson Bl., Los Angeles 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

In addition to the free wash, "clean teams" will be on hand to distribute MONK handi-wipes and car air fresheners. While customers wait for their cars, they can catch a glimpse of what the new season has in store on monitors in the waiting areas. Off The Bench Marketing, one of America's premiere alternative marketing agencies, will be executing the promotion.

MONK, the critically acclaimed original series starring Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG award winner Tony Shalhoub premieres its fourth season on USA Network on Friday, July 8, 2005 at 10:00 PM ET/PT, featuring a guest appearance by Jason Alexander. MONK remains one of the highest-rated original scripted series in basic cable history. Shalhoub ("The Last Shot," "Men in Black") has earned an Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award and SAG Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal of detective Adrian Monk. Traylor Howard ("Two Guys and a Girl," "Me, Myself and Irene"), Ted Levine ("Heat," "Moby Dick") and Jason Gray-Stanford ("Taken," "A Beautiful Mind") also star.
