SANDRA COLTON AND JONNIS ARE ELIMINATED FROM "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE"

COMPETITION HEATS UP AS REMAINING 14 FINALISTS PERFORM Two More Finalists to be Eliminated Wednesday, August 31, on FOX

When America's vote was revealed last night, Sandra Colton and Jonnis were eliminated from the competition on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. In the partner dance round, Colton performed a lyrical dance with Artem Chigvinsev, while Jonnis performed the mambo with Michelle Brooke. Tune in next week to see who dances on, and who goes home Wednesday, Aug. 31 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Colton, 26, lives in Las Vegas, NV. Her past jobs include Laker Girl and dance teacher. She is trained in hip-hop and jazz but considers tap her specialty. She has created an online magazine called "Original Girl" and her favorite dancer is Savion Glover. After last week's performance, choreographer/judge Mia Michaels said of Colton's performance, "You cannot fake technique."

Jonnis, 20, was born in Vancouver, Canada. He now lives in Margate, NJ, and teaches dance at various schools. He began training when he was 5, quit and returned to dancing when he was 10. The youngest of 10 children, he considers tap his strongest dance style but also loves hip-hop. Choreographer/judge Dan Karaty said, "(Jonnis) missed the little things."
