Hallmark Channel Scares Up Third Annual Halloween 'Swipestakes' with Hallmark Gold Crown(R) Stores

HALLMARK CHANNEL SCARES UP THIRD ANNUAL HALLOWEEN �SWIPESTAKES� WITH HALLMARK GOLD CROWN� STORES

There are no tricks from Hallmark Channel this Halloween, only treats for a lucky consumer who enters and wins a trip for two to Los Angeles and a walk-on role in a Hallmark Channel original movie, as the channel again partners with the more than 4,000 Hallmark Gold Crown� Stores across the country for its third annual �Hallmark Channel Halloween Swipestakes.�

The �swipestakes� runs from September 26 through October 31 and supports the Hallmark Channel World Premiere Television Event, �Coronado,� on Saturday, October 15 (9/8c). Consumers can enter by making a purchase at any of the participating Hallmark Gold Crown Stores using a Gold Crown card or by visiting www.hallmarkchannel.com.

Hallmark Gold Crown retail stores will be supplied with take-one flyers which will provide movie tune-in information and direct consumers to the shop in-store or enter online for a chance to win the Grand Prize of a getaway that includes a trip for two to Los Angeles and a chance to appear in a Hallmark Channel Original movie.

�Coronado� is the story of a wealthy surgeon�s daughter, Claire Winslow (Kristin Dattilo, �The Chris Isaak Show�), who plans on surprising her fianc�, Will Gallagher (Michael Lowry, �All My Children�), on his business trip in Zurich. The tables are turned when to Claire�s surprise her fianc� is nowhere to be found and the company he supposedly works for is nonexistent. A baffling clue leads Claire on a dangerous quest to locate her missing fianc� in this two-hour movie from the Academy Award�-winning producers of �Independence Day.�
