BRAVO, DAKOTA PICTURES AND EUGENE PACK INK DEAL FOR THE ONE-HOUR COMEDY SPECIAL 'CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY: IN THEIR OWN WORDS'

MOLLY SHANNON, CHERYL HINES, DORIS ROBERTS, KEVIN NEALON AND FRED WILLARD TO APPEAR IN ORIGINAL BRAVO SPECIAL

LOS ANGELES -- October 5, 2005 -- Bravo has inked a deal with Dakota Pictures and Eugene Pack to produce a one-hour comedy special based upon the outrageous live show created by comedian/performer Pack, who will serve as executive producer on the project. The announcement was made today by Lauren Zalaznick, president of Bravo. The one-hour special is scheduled to premiere on Bravo in 2005.

To-date, celebrities signed on for the special include Molly Shannon ("Saturday Night Live"), Cheryl Hines ("Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Herbie: Fully Loaded"), Doris Roberts ("Everybody Loves Raymond"), Kevin Nealon ("Saturday Night Live," "The Wedding Singer"), and Fred Willard ("Best in Show," "A Mighty Wind"). Additional talent will be announced at a later date.

"Celebrity Autobiography: In their Own Words" is the brainchild of Eugene Pack, who began the offbeat live show with co-producer Dale Rehfeld in Los Angeles in 1998 with a troupe of renowned comedian friends. The ensemble group reads excerpts from the memoirs of well-known stars, including Elizabeth Taylor, Tommy Lee and Britney Spears, verbally weaving the infamous celebrity stories together to create an original comedic performance. Past performers from the live stage have included Nathan Lane, Geri Halliwell and Penelope Ann Miller. The live show continues to gain attention and critical praise, with the Los Angeles Times calling the show "inspired", In Style magazine calling it "hilarious" and Rolling Stone Magazine named it a "cool night out."

"'Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words' provides a fresh approach to exploring the many layers of celebrity-dom through the articulations of America's funniest comedians," said Zalaznick. "Bravo's programming always strives to provide unique perspectives relating to America's notable arts and culture icons."

"For the last seven years, audiences have enjoyed 'Celebrity Autobiography' as a live show and we could not be more thrilled to bring this to television," said Pack. "We are attracting the best in comedy to participate and we feel Bravo is the perfect place for this project."

"Celebrity Autobiography: In their Own Words" will be produced by Dakota Pictures and Handprint Entertainment in association with Bravo. Eugene Pack, Troy Miller, Evan Weiss and Dale Rehfeld will executive produce.
