USA ENCORES MONDAY NIGHT RAW ON FRIDAY, OCT. 7 AT 10 P.M. WITH TUMBLES, A RUMBLE AND FAN FRENZIED FINALE

Unseen Footage and a Galaxy of WWE? Superstars Highlight Friday Night Special

NEW YORK -- October 5, 2005 -- The spectacular return of MONDAY NIGHT RAW to USA Network continues Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 p.m. with a special two-hour encore presentation of the top-rated Oct. 3 premiere, highlighted by previously unseen, action-packed footage. Legendary wrestlers "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Sargent Slaughter, join today's Superstars -- WWE champ John Cena, Triple H, Big Show, sexy divas Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson, Carlito and more -- in a no holds barred, non-stop wrestling extravaganza.

USA's premiere homecoming featured a 30-minute Iron Man Match with Kurt Angle and Shawn "The Heartbreak Kid" Michaels; "Stone Cold" Steve Austin attacking the entire McMahon family and renewing a bitter rivalry from years ago; a bloody tag team match that got personal featuring Triple H, Ric Flair, Carlito and Chris Masters; WWE champ John Cena defending his title versus RAW general manager Eric Bischoff; as well as an unprecedented RAW/Smackdown rumble to claim wrestling supremacy.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW debuted on USA as a three-hour special (7:55-11:13 p.m. ET/PT) with a 4.4 HH rating and 5.6 million total viewers. In its regular 9-11 p.m. timeslot, RAW averaged a 4.7 HH rating with an average of 6 million total viewers tuning in, nearly 2 million more viewers than Spike had last week, making it the most-watched RAW in more than three years.

WWE's RAW is seen on USA Network every Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
