ANNA BELKNAP JOINS "CSI: NY" AS A SERIES REGULAR

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 -- Anna Belknap joins the cast of CSI: NY as a series regular starring as "Lindsay Monroe," a young, athletic and eager to please CSI who recently moved to New York from Montana. She makes her first appearance on the show in the episode titled "Zoo York" to be broadcast Wednesday, Oct. 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. CSI: NY also stars Gary Sinise, Melina Kanakaredes, Eddie Cahill, Carmine Giovinazzo and Hill Harper.

"Lindsay Monroe" worked as a CSI for three years in Montana and finally realized her dream of moving to a big city like New York. Her Midwestern work ethic and willingness to roll up her sleeves and tackle any job is a welcome addition to the team where she is quickly put through rookie training by Mac (Gary Sinise) on their first case. Excited and always willing to learn, Lindsay offers a fresh perspective to the lab, rarely hinting at the dark and devastating secret that originally motivated her to dedicate her life to being a CSI.

Anna Belknap's television credits include "Medical Investigation," "Deadline," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU," "The Comeback," "The Jury," "Trinity" and "Homicide: Life on the Street." She also appeared on "The Handler" and as a guest star on "Without a Trace" and "The Education of Max Bickford," all on the Network.
