Award-Winning Actor Joanna Cassidy to Guest-Star on ABC's "Boston Legal"

AWARD-WINNING ACTOR JOANNA CASSIDY TO GUEST-STAR ON ABC�S �BOSTON LEGAL�

Award-winning actor Joanna Cassidy will guest-star in a three-episode arc of �Boston Legal,� currently scheduled to air this season, it was announced today. Cassidy will play Beverly Bridge, a fifty year-old attractive predator trolling for her second husband amongst her high-net-worth peers. She steals the heart of the firm�s partner, Denny Crane (William Shatner), at a charity dinner.

Cassidy recently appeared in the critically acclaimed HBO series �Six Feet Under,� playing �Margaret Chenowith,� the provocative psychiatrist and mother of two troubled adult children. Upcoming projects include �The Reading Room,� scheduled to air in November on the Hallmark Channel, in which she will co-star with James Earl Jones and Georg Sanford Brown; and she just completed a starring role in the comedy �Larry The Cable Guy: Health Inspector,� for Paramount Pictures.

Led by an Emmy Award-winning cast, �Boston Legal� tells the professional and personal stories of a group of brilliant but often emotionally challenged attorneys. Fast-paced and darkly comedic, the series confronts social and moral issues, while its characters continually stretch the boundaries of the law.

�Boston Legal� stars James Spader as Alan Shore, Julie Bowen as Denise Bauer, Mark Valley as Brad Chase, Rene Auberjonois as Paul Lewiston, Justin Mentell as Garrett Wells and Ryan Michelle Bathe as Sara Holt, with Candice Bergen as Shirley Schmidt and William Shatner as Denny Crane.
