JAMES VAN PRAAGH TO CONDUCT THE '''GHOST WHISPERER' HALLOWEEN CYBERCAST S�ANCE,'' THURSDAY, OCT. 27 EXCLUSIVELY ON CBS.COM

Los Angeles -- On Thursday, October 27 (3:00 PM, ET / 12:00 PM PT), CBS.com will feature the ''Ghost Whisperer Halloween S�ance'' hosted by renowned medium James Van Praagh. Van Praagh, who is co-executive producer of the hit CBS television drama GHOST WHISPERER, will conduct a one hour live s�ance where he will perform readings for the general public via streaming video on CBS.com.

The public will be able to call Van Praagh at 323-CBS(227)-1000 and speak to him personally as he connects to the dead while others can simultaneously converse in a designated chat room.

The reading for the public will be videostreamed live on CBS.com. Viewers will also be able to download the s�ance as a podcast and the event will be archived on CBS.com.

GHOST WHISPERER stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as Melinda Gordon, a woman who has the unique ability to see and talk to earthbound spirits that seek her help in communicating and resolving unfinished business with the living. David Conrad and Aisha Tyler also star as Melinda's husband, Jim and best friend/business partner, Andrea. The stars of this drama will not be taking part in the online s�ance.

Friday night's episode (October 28) features a teenage boy who died in a freak accident after discovering he was adopted and now needs Melinda's help finding his birth mother.
