BRAVO PAYS TRIBUTE TO CELEBRITIES AND THEIR CHERISHED MEMOIRS WITH THE ONE-HOUR COMEDY SPECIAL "CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY: IN THEIR OWN WORDS" PREMIERING DECEMBER 15 AT 10 PM ET/PT

JAY MOHR, CHERYL HINES, KEVIN NEALON, DORIS ROBERTS ARE AMONG THE CELEBRITIES PERFORMING IN SPECIAL

LOS ANGELES - November 2, 2005 - Bravo shows why the literary works of Sylvester Stallone and Tommy Lee can be both compelling and downright hilarious in the one-hour comedy special, "Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words," premiering on Bravo Thursday, December 15 at 10 PM ET/PT.

"Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words" is the brainchild of writer/comedian Eugene Pack who began the offbeat live show with co-producer Dale Rehfeld in Los Angeles in 1998 with a troupe of renowned comedian friends. The ensemble group reads excerpts from the memoirs of well-known stars, including Elizabeth Taylor, N' Sync and Madonna, verbally revealing the celebrity stories to create an original comedic performance.

For the first time, the buzz-worthy live show is coming to Bravo with an original special featuring some of America's most notable celebrities and comedians reading from the autobiographies of such pop-culture icons as Kathie Lee Gifford, Zsa Zsa Gabor and David Cassidy. The cast includes Jay Mohr ("Last Comic Standing," "Saturday Night Live"), Cheryl Hines ("Curb Your Enthusiasm"), Kevin Nealon ("Weeds," "The Wedding Singer"), Doris Roberts ("Everybody Loves Raymond"), Fred Willard ("Best in Show," "A Mighty Wind"), Niecy Nash ("Reno 911"), Kel Mitchell ("Kenan and Kel"), Laraine Newman ("Saturday Night Live") and Andrea Martin ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding," "SCTV"). Also, among the guests in the live audience is celebrity author George Takei, "Star Trek's" Mr. Sulu, who is treated to a comedic performance from his memoir, "To The Stars."

"Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words" offers a refreshing and unique look at the many layers of celebrity culture through the performances of renowned comedians," said Bravo President Lauren Zalaznick.

"Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words," is produced by Dakota Pictures and Handprint Entertainment in association with Bravo. Eugene Pack and Dale Rehfeld, who also perform, will executive produce along with Troy Miller and Evan Weiss.
