CBS Thursday Jumpstarts the November Sweep

CBS THURSDAY JUMPSTARTS THE NOVEMBER SWEEP

"Survivor: Guatemala" Posts Its Best Delivery in Viewers and Adults 25-54 and Highest Adults 18-49 Rating Since Its Premiere

"CSI" Rules the Night With 28.45 Million Viewers

"Without a Trace" Tops "ER"

CBS kicked off the November sweep with a dominating Thursday win across all key measures led by a resurgent SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA, CSI and WITHOUT A TRACE in adults 18-49, according to preliminary Nielsen ratings for Nov. 3.

SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA won its time period with an 11.1/18 with 18.43m viewers, 4.4/13 in adults 18-34, 6.6/17 in adults 18-49 and 8.1/19 in adults 25-54. Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +5% in households (from 10.6/17), +6% in both viewers (from 17.38m) and adults 18-49 (from 6.2/17), +7% in adults 18-34 (from 4.1/13) and +8% in adults 25-54 (from 7.5/19). SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA hit series highs in households, viewers and adults 25-54 and posted its best delivery in adults 18-49 since the first episode this season (9/15/05).

CSI finished first in households (17.7/26), viewers (28.45m), adults 25-54 (12.0/26), adults 18-49 (9.8/23) and adults 18-34 (7.1/19).

WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (13.1/22), viewers (20.25m), adults 25-54 (7.8/19) and adults 18-49 (6.3/17). WITHOUT A TRACE beat "ER" by +34% in households (vs. 9.8/16), +2% in adults 18-49 (vs. 6.2/16), +7% in adults 25-54 (vs. 7.3/17) and +42% in viewers (vs. 14.26m).

For the night, CBS was first in households (14.0/22), viewers (22.38m), adults 25-54 (9.3/21), adults 18-49 (7.6/19) and adults 18-34 (5.4/15).

Compared to the first Thursday of the November sweep last year, CBS extended its margin of victory over NBC in viewers (11.32m vs. 9.15m), adults 18-49 (2.8 vs. 1.5) and adults 25-54 (3.8 vs. 2.7).

Final Thursday ratings will be available this afternoon.

SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA won its time period with a 10.9/17 with 18.28m viewers, 4.4/13 in adults 18-34, 6.6/17 in adults 18-49 and 8.1/19 in adults 25-54. Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +3% in households (from 10.6/17), +5% in viewers (from 17.38m) and +7% in adults 18-34 (from 4.1/13), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 6.2/17) and +8% in adults 25-54 (from 7.5/19). SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA hit series highs in adults 25-54 and posted its best delivery in households, viewers and adults 18-49 since the first episode this season (9/15/05).

CSI finished first in both its time period and among all programs last night in households (17.9/27), viewers (28.73m), adults 25-54 (12.1/26), adults 18-49 (9.9/24) and adults 18-34 (7.1/19).

WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (13.3/22), viewers (20.44m), adults 25-54 (7.9/19) and adults 18-49 (6.4/17). WITHOUT A TRACE beat "ER" by +36% in households (vs. 9.8/16), +3% in adults 18-49 (vs. 6.2/16), +8% in adults 25-54 (vs. 7.3/17) and +43% in viewers (vs. 14.29m).

For the night, CBS was first in households (14.0/22), viewers (22.53m), adults 25-54 (9.4/22), adults 18-49 (7.6/19) and adults 18-34 (5.4/15).

Compared to the first Thursday of the November sweep last year, CBS extended its margin of victory over NBC in viewers (11.47m from 9.15m), adults 18-49 (2.8 vs. 1.5) and adults 25-54 (3.9 vs. 2.7).
