CBS scored an across-the-board victory for the fifth straight week, placing first in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen ratings for the week ending Nov. 13, week eight of the 2005-2006 Season.

CBS has won every week this season in viewers (the first network to accomplish this since the 1988-89 Season), five straight weeks in adults 18-49 and six consecutive weeks in adults 25-54.

CBS's win was fueled by CSI, which had the largest audience of any broadcast on any network this season, season high ratings for SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA, NUMB3RS, COLD CASE, CSI: NY, CLOSE TO HOME and 48 HOURS MYSTERY.

For the week in viewers, CBS (14.54m) beat ABC (11.40m), NBC (8.91m) and FOX (7.52m). Season-to-date in viewers, CBS (13.16m) leads, followed by ABC (10.84m), NBC (9.34m) and FOX (8.74m).

For the week in households, CBS (9.3/15) enjoyed a +27% advantage over ABC (7.3/12), +58% over NBC (5.9/09) and +98% over FOX (4.7/07). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.6/14), outpacing ABC by +23% (7.0/11), NBC by +37% (6.3/10) and FOX by +54% (5.6/09).

In key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (5.6/13) for the sixth consecutive week and first in adults 18-49 (4.4/12) for the fifth week in a row. This is CBS's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since the week ending 5/15/05 (a week that included the finales of "The Amazing Race 7" and "Survivor: Palau") and best delivery in adults 18-49 since the week ending 5/22/05 (a week that included the series finale of "Everybody Loves Raymond" and the two-hour "CSI" finale directed by Quentin Tarantino).

Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (4.1/11, with ABC).

For the first 11 days of the November 2005 sweep, CBS is first in households (9.2/15), viewers (14.38m), adults 25-54 (5.6/13) and adults 18-49 (4.4/12).

� NCIS was first in households (11.0/17), viewers (17.79m), adults 25-54 (5.8/14) and adults 18-49 (4.2/11) for the 8th consecutive week.

� THE AMAZING RACE 8 (6.7/10, 10.84m) was second in adults 25-54 (5.2/12), adults 18-49 (4.6/11), adults 18-34 (3.5/10). This is THE AMAZING RACE 8's best delivery in adults 18-49 this season, the best adults 18-34 delivery since the season premiere and matches the second best adults 25-54 delivery.

-- Wednesday, CBS was first in households (9.2/14), viewers (14.20m), second in adults 25-54 (5.6/13), adults 18-49 (4.5/12) and tied for second in adults 18-34 (3.4/10, with FOX). This marks CBS's strongest Wednesday so far this season and best performance since 3/23/05 (a night that included a Wednesday "Survivor") in viewers, households, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

� CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (9.8/15), viewers (15.09m), adults 25-54 (5.8/13) and adults 18-49 (4.3/11). CRIMINAL MINDS finished in its closest competitive position to a first run episode of "Lost" to date in households, viewers, adults 18-34 (3.3/09), adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

� CSI: NY was first in households (12.3/20), viewers (19.23m), adults 25-54 (7.9/19), adults 18-49 (6.5/17) and adults 18-34 (5.2/15). This is CSI: NY's best households, viewers and adults 25-54 delivery since 9/29/04, best adults 18-34 and adults 18-49 since 11/17/04 (the series high in adults 18-34).

� SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA won its time period in households (11.0/17), viewers (18.98m), adults 25-54 (8.3/20), adults 18-49 (6.9/19) and adults 18-34 (5.0/15). SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA hit series highs in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

� CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (18.2/27), viewers (29.55m), adults 25-54 (12.4/28), adults 18-49 (10.2/25) and adults 18-34 (7.7/22). This broadcast of CSI ranks as the Number One broadcast on any network this season-to-date. The top five broadcasts this season in viewers are all CSI episodes.

� WITHOUT A TRACE won its time period in households (13.8/22), viewers (20.78m) adults 25-54 (7.9/19) and second in adults 18-49 (6.3/17).

-- For the eighth week this season, CBS was first Friday in households (7.7/13), viewers (11.88m), adults 25-54 (4.6/13) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10). This is CBS's best Friday delivery in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 3/25/05.

� GHOST WHISPERER won its time period in households (7.2/13), viewers (11.41m), adults 25-54 (4.6/13), adults 18-49 (3.3/11) and adults 18-34 (2.1/08). GHOST WHISPERER has won its time slot every week this season in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

� CLOSE TO HOME SPECIAL (S) won its time period in households (7.8/13), viewers (11.87m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12), adults 18-49 (3.2/10) and adults 18-34 (2.3/08). This is the time period's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 5/13/05 ("Elvis, by the Presleys"). This episode of CLOSE TO HOME outperformed all Tuesday episodes in households, viewers and adults 25-54 and is the best delivery in adults 18-49 since 10/18/05.

� NUMB3RS was first for the eighth consecutive week in households (8.1/14), viewers (12.36m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and first for the 7th time in eight weeks in adults 18-49 (3.6/11). This is NUMB3RS best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 1/28/05, the program's time period premiere.

� 48 HOURS MYSTERY was first in households (7.1/13), viewers (10.11m), adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08). This is 48 HOURS MYSTERY's best delivery in households and viewers since introducing its current format in September 2004. 48 HOURS MYSTERY nearly beat NBC and ABC combined in viewers (10.11m vs. 10.20m).

� COLD CASE was first in households (11.1/16), viewers (17.42m), second in adults 25-54 (5.5/12). This is COLD CASE's best delivery in households and viewers since 11/28/04.

� CBS SUNDAY MOVIE ("Category 7: The End of the World" part 2 of 2) was second in households (8.7/13), viewers (13.86m), adults 25-54 (5.3/11) and adults 18-49 (4.2/09). Compared to the CBS SUNDAY MOVIE's season-to-date average, "Category 7: The End of the World" was up +34% in households, +39% in both viewers and adults 25-54 and +40% in adults 18-49.
