WE: Women's Entertainment Green Lights Pilot for its 2006 Original Programming Slate

Pilot for "Bling!" is Currently in Production

New York, NY, November 17, 2005 - WE: Women's Entertainment (WE), the only cable network dedicated to helping women connect to one another and the world around them, announced today that it has authorized a pilot for a new series that will add to its growing slate of original programming. Bling! (working title) will follow the luxurious daily lives of the rich and famous as they shop their way through ultra-expensive stores to buy outrageous things. The pilot is currently in production.

"Bling! is a great fit for WE's increasing line-up of original programming that is fun, relevant and engaging," said Kim Martin, WE's Executive Vice President and General Manager. "We are committed to providing our viewers with entertaining shows that offer insight into the fascinating lives of women. This series delves into the captivating world of celebrities, a subject that continually enthralls our viewers."

Bling! takes viewers on a day-in-the-life journey with the rich and famous as they visit the most exclusive stores to shop for the most expensive items. In addition, audiences will hear more about the must-have, luxury goods of the wealthy, as well as stories and observations from the people whose job it is to provide the swag and services the rich can't live without. The journey doesn't end there, as the show examines the psyche of these chronic shoppers, living in a world where image is everything and money is everywhere.

WE continues to ramp up its original programming slate with upcoming series including I Can't Believe I Wore That, exploring the most forgettable and regrettable fashion faux pas of the 70's, 80's, 90's and the millennium; Secret Lives of Women, taking an up close and personal look at the intimate issues, struggles and surprising opportunities facing women today; and Daddy's Spoiled Little Girl, exposing the lavish lifestyles that pampered girls live when their doting dads give into their every request. All three original series are scheduled to premiere in December 2005 on WE.

Bling! is produced by Burrud Productions.
