ABC and Touchstone Television's "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives" Receive Four Nominations for 2006 Writers Guild Awards

ABC AND TOUCHSTONE TELEVISION�S �GREY�S ANATOMY,� �LOST� AND �DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES� RECEIVE FOUR NOMINATIONS FOR 2006 WRITERS GUILD AWARDS

�GREY�S ANATOMY� AND �LOST� ALSO RECENTLY NAMED AFI TELEVISION PROGRAMS OF THE YEAR

Three of the hit ABC Television Network and Touchstone Television series that garnered Golden Globe nominations Tuesday today have more to add to their list of kudos.

The Writers Guild of America, East and the Writers Guild of America, West today announced nominations for Outstanding Achievement in Television Writing during the 2005 season, and the American Film Institute (AFI) recently named two of these hit series to its list of TV Programs of the Year.

From the WGA, �Grey�s Anatomy� and �Lost� each received nominations for Outstanding Achievement in Writing for a Dramatic Series, with �Grey�s Anatomy� also being recognized in the Outstanding Achievement in Writing for a New Series category. �Desperate Housewives� garnered a nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Writing an Episodic Comedy.

Winners will be announced at the 2006 Writers Guild Awards on Saturday, February 4, 2006.

In addition, the AFI recently announced that �Grey�s Anatomy� and �Lost� are official selections of AFI Awards 2005. The AFI, which records the year�s most outstanding achievements in film and television, selected the two critically acclaimed series among their 10 Television Programs of the Year. The Award recognizes the creative ensemble as a whole, and the honor will be presented at a luncheon on Friday, January 13, 2006.
