Nestle's Lean Cuisine Sponsors WE's Cinematherapy: Best Friends

Friday Night Movie, Dedicated to Best Friends, Kicks-Off with How Stella Got Her Grove Back Thursday, December 29 at 8PM

New York, NY - December 20, 2005 - WE: Women's Entertainment, the only cable network dedicated to helping women connect to one another and the world around them, announced today that Nestle's Lean Cuisine has signed on to sponsor WE's Cinematherapy: Best Friends, movies featuring women and their relationships with their best friends. Cinematherapy: Best Friends kicks-off with How Stella Got Her Groove Back, starring Angela Bassett and Whoopi Goldberg, on Thursday, December 29, at 8PM and runs every Thursday thereafter, throughout the month of January.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Nestle's Lean Cuisine receives on-air presence through customized billboards and tagged tune-ins driving viewers to the premiere of each movie. They also receive on-line presence at www.we.tv, touting a printable discount coupon for $1.00 off of five Lean Cuisine products. Additionally, WE partners with Nestle to create customized two minute wraps, to air during the breaks, where they highlight friends on the street sharing "best friend" moments.

"We are so pleased to be able to offer Nestle's Lean Cuisine access to their very important demographic of women," said Arlene Manos, President, Rainbow National Network Advertising Sales. "Cinematheraphy reinforces WE's commitment to original programming and to position WE as the television destination for women."

"Best Friends" is a special Cinematheraphy event, featuring WE's signature Cinematherapy host Chuck Nice, bringing women together on his red couch to chat about what they love best: movies, relationships, and what it means to be friends. The following "best friend" films will be featured during the event: How Stella Got Her Grove Back on December 29, Untamed Heart on January 5. The Truth About Cats and Dogs on January 12, Angie on January 19 and ending with Nine to Five the evening of January 26.

This year marked WE's largest programming expansion in its history, including a 30% increase in original programming. The network's originals also garnered record ratings success for WE. In 2005 to date, 8 of the network's Top 10 ranked telecasts for A18-49 delivery were originals for WE, compared to 1 in 2004*.
