HBO won 3 Golden Globe Awards at the 63rd annual Golden Globe Awards, which were announced Jan. 16 in Los Angeles. Shows receiving awards were "Empire Falls" and "Lackawanna Blues."
HBO's Golden Globe wins this year include:
- 2 awards for "Empire Falls": Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Paul Newman).
- "Lackawanna Blues": Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (S. Epatha Merkerson).
