Hallmark Channel Launches Annual Valentine's Day Sweepstakes with Hallmark Gold Crown Stores(R)

This Valentine�s Day, Hallmark Channel has partnered with 450 affiliate systems and approximately 4,000 Hallmark Gold Crown Stores across the country to offer a sweepstakes with a chance for participants to win a trip for two to Los Angeles and a VIP visit to the set of a Hallmark Channel Original movie. Through the participating affiliates the promotion will reach 51 million subscribers.

As an addition to the promotion, for the first time ever, subscribers will be able to take advantage of a 20% discount offer code for Hallmark Flowers that will be provided by their cable provider. The sweepstakes coincides with the Hallmark Channel Original movie premiere of �Falling in Love With the Girl Next Door� starring Patty Duke, Patrick Duffy and Shelley Long, on Saturday, February 4 (9:00 pm, ET/PT). To enter the sweepstakes, viewers can register at www.hallmarkchannel.com or shoppers can enter by making a purchase using their Hallmark Gold Crown� Card at a participating Hallmark Gold Crown Store between January 27 and February 14. The grand prize includes a trip for two to Los Angeles, including a behind-the-scenes visit to the set of a Hallmark Channel Original movie.

Participating affiliates have agreed to air cross-channel spots to support Hallmark Channel�s Original movies and the sweepstakes, and to purchase local radio or print advertising within their market. Every customer from the 450 participating affiliate markets that registers for the sweepstakes will be entered to win an exclusive DVD 3- pack of Hallmark Channel Original movies.

�Falling in Love With the Girl Next Door,� stars Emmy� Award winner Shelley Long (�Cheers�) and Academy Award�, Emmy� and Golden Globe winner Patty Duke (�Murder Without Conviction�) as, Betsy and Bridget, two strong-willed women who have battled for decades over who throws the best Halloween party on Catalina Island. When Bridget�s daughter, Theresa, (Crystal Allen, �Maid in Manhattan�) returns home after a failed romance and falls in love with the boy next door (Ken Marino, �What I Like About You�), her childhood friend and Betsy�s son, the two women try to put their differences aside � unsuccessfully � for the sake of their children.
