USA #1 ACROSS THE BOARD FOR JANUARY

NEW YORK -- January 31, 2006 -- USA Network has kicked off 2006 as the highest rated and most watched basic cable network in January among households (2.3 rating), P18-34 (0.6 million), P18-49 (1.3 million), P25-54 (1.3 million), and total viewers P2+ (2.8 million).

This month was the most watched January for USA network in six years (since January 2000) in all key demos: households, P18-34, P18-49, P25-54, and total viewers P2+.

* USA dominated the basic cable landscape in January 2006 by taking over the top ten (3 episodes of MONK and 7 hours of WWE) P25-54 basic cable entertainment telecasts of January 2006 (ranking excludes ESPN).

* USA's 1/20/06 episode of MONK was the most watched basic cable entertainment telecast of the month among P25-54 (2.777 million). Every premiere episode of MONK in January 2006 topped all competing basic cable original series telecasts among P25-54, including FX's The Shield and TNT's The Closer.

* WWE's muscle made USA the #1 network in Primetime each Monday of January 2006 among key demos: Households, P18-34, P18-49, P25-54, and total viewers P2+.

USA Network continues to grow, earning significant growth over January 2005 in all key demos, with a 13% increase in Households, a 17% increase in P18-34 delivery, a 12% increase in P18-49 delivery, a 10% increase in P25-54 delivery, and a 15% increase in P2+ delivery (Live+SD vs. pre-DVR data).
