The Hula Hoop Swings Its Way to the Top Spot as the #1 Toy of All Time

NEW YORK, March 8 -- The hula hoop tops VH1's "I Love Toys" countdown proving that you are never too old to love toys. From Lego to Mr. Potato Head to Barbie and Candy Land, VH1 is reprising its highly successful and hilarious I Love the '80s approach for its all new five-part series "I Love Toys" but with a countdown of the top 100 toys.

VH1's "I Love Toys," premiered on Monday and will culminate on Friday, March 10 with a 90-minute special starting at 9:30 PM* that will countdown toys 20-1. "I Love Toys" offers viewers yet another nostalgic look back at their childhood with the toys that defined their generation through the lenses of a View Master of course. The journey to rank the top 100 toys of all time and setting your inner child free consisted of online voting, sales, historical significance and longevity.

Each one-hour episode of "I Love Toys" will feature today's top celebrities, such as Ricky Martin, Rachel Leigh Cook, Darryl McDaniels, French Stewart, Ying Yang Twins, Doug E.
