COUNTRY MUSIC STAR KENNY ROGERS TO PERFORM ON "AMERICAN IDOL" WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5, ON FOX

American music legend Kenny Rogers will perform live on the AMERICAN IDOL results show Wednesday, April 5 (9:00-9:32 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

Rogers' "Water & Bridges" (released March 21, 2006) debuted at No.14 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and No. 5 on the Country Albums chart, his highest album chart success in more than 23 years. His career spans five decades and features such hits as "Lady," "Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town," "The Gambler," "She Believes in Me," "Islands in the Stream," "We've Got Tonight" and "Buy Me a Rose."
