�THE SHOP� MAKES THE CUT!

Full Season Of Comedy Reality Series Ranked #1 In It�s Time Period

April 10, 2006 - New York, NY � MTV: Music Television today announced that the season finale of the popular MTV series, �The Shop� reached over 2 million viewers on Thursday night establishing it as a fan favorite on MTV.

The full season ranked number one in its time period (Thu 10:30-11p) among P12-34 versus cable competition.

The full season of �The Shop� reached 41 million viewers.

�The Shop,� which premiered on February 2nd, follows the work lives of the charismatic, real-life barbers of Mr. Rooney�s Barbershop in Jamaica, NY as they groom patrons while swapping witty ideologies on life, music, hip hop, culture, women and more.

�The Shop� is executive produced by Tommy Mottola and Jeb Brien for Mottola Entertainment. Also listed as Executive Producers are Cory Rooney, Matt Morchower and David Kaufman for Varsity Entertainment, and Rushion McDonald. Ethan Goldman serves as Development Executive/Supervising Producer. Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley are Executive Producers for MTV.
