NEW YORK, April 11, 2006 -- Are you funny? Show us! COMEDY CENTRAL is partnering with IFILM to put out a challenge to its audience with the launch of "COMEDY CENTRAL's Test Pilots," an online competition in search of the next big broadband show it was announced today by Lou Wallach, senior vice president, original programming and development, COMEDY CENTRAL. Would-be show creators will get the opportunity to submit one to five-minute pilots to comedycentral.com with the winner receiving a development deal on COMEDY CENTRAL's broadband channel "MotherLoad."

Live action, animation, sketch or hidden camera � any format is acceptable. The only prerequisite�it shouldn't suck!

"'COMEDY CENTRAL's Test Pilots' is a chance for our extremely talented and vocal audience to get their foot in the door and wow us with their creativity," said Wallach. "We get throngs of emails and calls telling us 'I have the best show for COMEDY CENTRAL.' Well, now is their chance to prove it."

"COMEDY CENTRAL's Test Pilots" will begin accepting submissions on May 22 through August 24, 2006. COMEDY CENTRAL has partnered with IFILM to utilize their innovative user generated content submission platform, which will be accessible via www.comedycentral.com.

During the competition, COMEDY CENTRAL will choose three "staff picks" per week for four consecutive weeks and those pilots will be streamed on comedycentral.com. These "staff picks" will be rated by the comedycentral.com users each week and the highest rated submission will become a semi-finalist. Once four semi-finalists have been chosen, comedycentral.com users will determine which of the top four pilots will move on to the final competition. In addition to the online viewers' choice, three finalists will be chosen by COMEDY CENTRAL's panel of judges, which consists of COMEDY CENTRAL executives.

The grand prize winner, selected by COMEDY CENTRAL's panel of judges, will receive a development deal with COMEDY CENTRAL to produce an episodic series on "MotherLoad."
