Trailer for "Nacho Libre" Will Have World Premiere
Superstar comedian Jack Black hosts the special two-and-a-half-hour World Broadcast Premiere of SCHOOL OF ROCK Friday, May 5 (8:00-10:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Black talks about his favorite SCHOOL OF ROCK scenes, reminisces about shooting the box office smash and, as an added Cinco de Mayo bonus, rolls out the World Premiere trailer of his new Paramount Pictures film, "Nacho Libre."
"While you're checking out SCHOOL OF ROCK, I'll drop in throughout the night with a special look at my new movie 'Nacho Libre.' Now that's just a night of good TV," said Black.
In Paramount Pictures' SCHOOL OF ROCK, Dewey Finn (Black) is down on his luck. Kicked out of his rock band, flat broke and lacking any job skills whatsoever, he fakes his way into a job as a substitute fourth-grade teacher at a stuffy private school. Instead of teaching the curriculum, Dewey tutors the kids in the subject nearest and dearest to his heart � rock and roll.
In "Nacho Libre," a comedy from the creators of "Napoleon Dynamite" and the writer of SCHOOL OF ROCK, Black stars as Ignacio � his friends call him "Nacho" � a cook who moonlights as a lucha libre wrestler to raise money for his orphanage. From Paramount Pictures, NACHO LIBRE is in theaters June 16.
