DISNEY-ABC TELEVISION GROUP TO OFFER LIVE, BEHIND-THE-SCENES COVERAGE OF �THE 33rd ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY� AWARDS� ONLINE AT ABC.COM, SOAPNET.COM AND ON SOAPNETIC

Streaming Broadcast Offers Fans Live Coverage from the Red Carpet and Emmy Winner Press Room

Dedicated to expanding its network and channel brands across multiple platforms and connecting viewers with their favorite shows anytime and anywhere, the Disney-ABC Television Group announced today that ABC.com, SOAPnet.com, and SOAPNETIC will offer viewers a front row seat to the �The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy� Awards,� featuring live, continuous streaming video coverage of Daytime�s biggest event.

Bob Guiney from ABC�s �The Bachelor� will serve as ABC.com�s host for red carpet arrivals and interviews from the after-party. Photo galleries will be updated frequently throughout the broadcast. Fans won�t want to miss diaries from nominees Renee Goldsberry and Bobbie Eakes, or the �Party Ideas� feature, which gives helpful hints on hosting the perfect viewing party. Both the red carpet and backstage press conference stream will be edited into clips and posted immediately after the event. Guiney�s interviews from before and during the after-party will be posted to ABC.com soon after the broadcast.

SOAPnet.com will also provide live coverage from the awards show, featuring minute-by-minute photo updates and backstage interviews with winners by soap expert Mimi Torchin.

SOAPNETIC, a new gated broadband channel available to Verizon Online consumer broadband customers, will air �SOAPnet LIVE from the Daytime Emmys,� a full, unedited online version of �The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,� as well as SOAPnet�s �Emmy Roundtable Program,� with Kat Boyd and Michael Bruno using their expertise to predict Emmy winners. SOAPnetic will also offer fans a sneak peek into ABC�s pre-Emmy party, with exclusive interviews with their favorite stars.

Hosted by Tom Bergeron (�Dancing with the Stars,� �America�s Funniest Home Videos�) and Kelly Monaco (�General Hospital,� Season-One winner of �Dancing with the Stars�), �The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards� will be broadcast live on ABC, FRIDAY, APRIL 28, from Hollywood�s famed Kodak Theater, from 8:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT (tape-delayed to the West Coast). This year marks the first time in the ceremony�s history the Daytime Emmy telecast will be presented on the West Coast. White Cherry Entertainment will produce the show.

The Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during the 2005 calendar year. �The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards� is a presentation of the National Television Academy in cooperation with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The telecast will be closed captioned, with Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program carries a TV-14 parental guideline.
