The "CBS Sunday Movie" ("Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise") Places in the Top 15 Among Viewers and Ranks as CBS's Second Most Watched Movie of the Season

CBS placed first in viewers for the seventh consecutive week, first in adults 25-54 and second in adults 18-49, according to LIVE PLUS SAME DAY Nielsen ratings for the week ending April 30, week 32 of the 2005-2006 television season.

For the week in viewers, CBS (13.10m) topped FOX (10.34m), NBC (8.87m) and ABC (8.24m). Season-to-date, CBS (12.62m) leads, followed by ABC (10.94m), FOX (9.81m) and NBC (9.75m).

For the week in households, CBS (8.6/14) was +37% ahead of FOX (6.3/10), +46% ahead of NBC (5.9/10) and +59% ahead of ABC (5.4/09). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.2/13), outpacing ABC by +19% (6.9/11), NBC by +28% (6.4/10) and FOX by +37% (6.0/10).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.7/10). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +1% in households, +2% in adults 25-54 and +3% in adults 18-49. This week, CBS was the only network to show growth compared to the same week last year in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and a strong third in adults 18-49 (3.8/10, -0.2 behind both FOX and ABC).

� CSI: MIAMI won its time period in households (12.4/20), viewers (18.74m), adults 25-54 (7.6/18), adults 18-49 (6.2/16) and adults 18-34 (4.2/13). CSI: MIAMI beat NBC and ABC combined in households (vs. 10.7/17, +16%), viewers (vs. 15.14m, +24%), adults 25-54 (vs. 7.2/18, +6%) and in a near dead-heat in adults 18-49 (vs. 6.3/17).

� NCIS was second in households (10.2/16), viewers (15.56m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09). NCIS beat NBC and ABC combined in households (vs. 5.4/08, +89%), viewers (vs. 7.75m, +101%), adults 25-54 (vs. 3.2/08, +56%), adults 18-49 (vs. 2.7/08, +33%) and in a virtual tie in adults 18-34 (2.1/06 vs. 2.2/07 for ABC and NBC combined).

� THE UNIT was second in households (8.9/13), viewers (13.87m), adults 25-54 (5.3/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/09). THE UNIT built on its NCIS lead by +6% in adults 25-54 and +8% in adults 18-49.

� CSI: NY was first in households (10.0/16), viewers (15.23m), adults 25-54 (6.5/16), adults 18-49 (5.2/14) and adults 18-34 (3.5/11). This is CSI: NY's best delivery in viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since Feb. 1, 2006.

� Thursday, the first night of the May sweep, CBS was first in households (13.2/21), viewers (20.85m), adults 25-54 (8.4/21), adults 18-49 (6.7/19) and adults 18-34 (4.6/14). CBS posted its best delivery in viewers and key demos since March 9, 2006.

� SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND was first in households (10.1/17), viewers (17.09m), adults 25-54 (7.2/20), adults 18-49 (5.9/18) and adults 18-34 (4.0/13). This is SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND's best delivery in viewers since 2/16/06 and in key demos since 3/30/06.

� CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (17.1/27), viewers (27.37m), adults 25-54 (11.1/26) adults 18-49 (8.7/22) and adults 18-34 (6.0/17). This is CSI's best delivery in viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 3/9/06. CSI beat NBC, ABC, FOX, WB and UPN combined in viewers (vs. 26.24m, +4%), NBC, ABC and FOX combined in adults 25-54 (vs. 9.8/23, +13%) and topped NBC and ABC combined in adults 18-49 (vs. 7.0/18, +24%).

� WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (12.2/20), viewers (17.93m), adults 25-54 (6.8/17) and adults 18-49 (5.5/15).

� GHOST WHISPERER was second in households (6.6/12, -0.2 behind NBC), viewers (10.00m), adults 25-54 (3.9/12, -0.1 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (3.0/11, -0.2 behind NBC). This is GHOST WHISPERER's best delivery in households, viewers and key demos since 4/7/06.

� CLOSE TO HOME was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (11.51m), adults 25-54 (4.2/12) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09). This is CLOSE TO HOME's best viewer and key demo delivery since 3/3/06.

� NUMB3RS was first in households (8.3/15), viewers (12.32m), adults 25-54 (4.7/13) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11). NUMB3RS's was Friday's top program in viewers and key demographics.

� COLD CASE was first in households (9.1/14), viewers (14.10m) and second in adults 25-54 (4.2/10).

� CBS SUNDAY MOVIE "Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise" (9.8/15, 14.79m) was posted the second best CBS SUNDAY MOVIE delivery this season in both households and viewers (behind "Hallmark Hall of Fame: Silver Bells" on 11/27/05), the best delivery in adults 25-54 (4.0/08) since 12/18/05 ("The Christmas Blessing") and in adults 18-49 (2.7/06) since 1/29/06 ("Hallmark Hall of Fame: The Water is Wide"). Compared to the last "Jesse Stone" movie (1/15/06), CBS was up +13% in households (from 8.7/13), +6% in viewers (from 13.97m), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.9/08) and +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/06).
