SLEUTH EXPANDS TO 22 MILLION HOMES

Sleuth Heats Up In July With New Features And Series

Burbank, CA � June 13, 2006 � As Sleuth, the 24 hour mystery and crime channel, arrives in 22 million homes nationwide this July, NBC Universal Cable celebrates with a major cross-promotion effort across all of its properties.

Sleuth is headed to Miami for viewers' favorite special episodes on Saturday, July 22nd and Sunday, July 23rd. Kicking off the weekend is an A-Team episode in which the team takes over a Miami beach front hotel, followed by the two hour Miami based pilot of Simon & Simon. Sleuth wraps the day with a mini-marathon with Miami's hottest female marshal Karen Sisco, the premiere of The Bermuda Triangle: Startling New Secrets, and Miami Vice. On Sunday, Sleuth is bringing audiences a full day of Crockett and Tubbs with a Miami Vice Marathon from 7am to 9pm (ET).

Sleuth gives home detectives double doses of crime fighting on Friday, July 21st through Sunday, July 23rd with Sneakers (9pm) and The Truth About Charlie (12am) on Friday, followed by Casino (9pm) on Saturday and The Life of David Gale (9pm) on Sunday. (All times Eastern).

"With a film and television library like NBC Universal's available to us, we can give viewers the best mystery and crime storytelling out there," said Dan Harrison, senior vice president emerging networks, NBC Universal Cable Entertainment. "Each month, we will be featuring new films and debuting audience-favorite series of this genre as the channel grows."

Viewers can see the series finale of John Doe, the sci-fi mystery series and the premiere of the new Sleuth series, Courthouse, on Thursday, July 20th. The new series follows the day to day lives of courthouse judges and stars Patricia Wettig, Robin Givens and Nia Peeples. Future episodes will air each Thursday night at 10pm and 1am (ET).

Mondays are filled with murder on Sleuth. On Monday, July 3rd, we're showcasing the best from our Murder Mondays strand with Silhouette, Dead in the Water, The Champagne Murders, Coopersmith: Sweet Scent of Murder, Dead Reckoning and the Sleuth premiere of Radioland Murders. In addition to the Murder Mondays Marathon, this month's features include Curiosity Kills and Profile for Murder.

Celebrate Independence Day with Sleuth. Viewers can escape from the July heat and visit some of their favorite 4th of July vacation spots with us. We kick-off our road trip with a Simon & Simon mini-marathon. Join Rick and A.J. as they chase a jewel thief to Hawaii, rescue a kidnapped dolphin at Sea World, and let it all hang out at a California nudist colony. We wrap up the day in Lands End with Birds II and a deadly cruise with Dead Reckoning.

Knight Rider's K.I.T.T. and Michael face their arch nemesis, the super truck menace Goliath and Michael's evil twin Garth Knight during a mini Knight Rider marathon on Saturday, July 15th at 4pm and Sunday, July 16th at 12pm (ET).

Sleuth brings viewers Miami Vice night on Thursday, July 27th. To celebrate the theatrical premiere of Miami Vice on Friday, July 28th, viewers can see how the ground breaking series began when we air the two part pilot of Brother's Keeper on Thursday at 8pm with an encore at 11pm (ET) along with airings of the action packed theatrical trailer.

July's Sleuth Action Wednesdays, at 9pm and 12am (ET), feature Running Against Time, This Gun For Hire, Stick, Marked for Murder, Singapore Sling, The Take, Birds II and Wild Card.
