TNT Presents Television Premiere of Supernatural Thriller HALF LIGHT, Starring Demi Moore

Scottish-Set Tale Premieres Sunday, June 25, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)

A bestselling novelist coping with the death of her son finds the reality of her world coming into conflict with the supernatural in HALF LIGHT, an intellectual thriller starring Demi Moore (Ghost, GI Jane). The movie, set in a remote area on the coast of Scotland, makes its television premiere on TNT Sunday, June 25, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

In HALF LIGHT, Moore plays Rachel Carlson, a novelist whose 5-year-old son has recently died in a tragic drowning. Hoping to get her life back together, come to terms with her grief and begin working on a new novel, she decides to rent a cottage in Scotland. Upon arriving there, she quickly becomes enamored of a local lighthouse keeper named Angus (Hans Matheson The Mists of Avalon). All seems well for Rachel until she begins receiving messages from her dead son, who is apparently trying to warn her that her life is in danger. Rachels paranoia grows as the local townsfolk express concern for her safety and the safety of their village, leading to a stunning climax.

In addition to Moore and Matheson, HALF LIGHT features Henry Ian Cusick, who plays Desmond Hume on the hit series Lost and James Cosmo (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe).

HALF LIGHT was directed by Australian helmer Craig Rosenberg (After the Sunset), who also wrote the screenplay. Although set in Scotland, the movie was filmed on the Welsh Island of Llanddwyn. Sets built for the movie were almost destroyed when the location was plagued by gale-force winds and rain. The movie features gorgeous cinematography by Ashley Rowe (The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone) and an eerie score by Brett Rosenberg (The Pact).
