This Thursday �Ugly Betty� proves that ugly is truly the new beautiful, as throngs of Betty Suarezes hit the streets of New York City bringing her characteristic style to the masses, prior to the series premiere that same evening (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). Preparing for her new position as a representative for Mode Magazine, one hundred �Ugly Betty� look-alikes will visit various New York City hot spots to solidify her position in the world of fashion. Getting ready for the cosmopolitan, label-conscious world of fashion publishing, Betty Suarez will make the rounds at some of New York�s most well known landmarks while dressed in her signature poncho.
Key locations include Penn Station, Grand Central Station, Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, Chelsea Market and Times Square. An �Ugly Betty� is hard to miss. One hundred �Ugly Bettys�? Impossible!
