Hughley, Frank Caliendo and Louis C.K., as well as special musical guest Kid Rock and special guest Carmen Electra. The centerpiece of the program will be a tribute to legendary comedian Bob Hope, who performed in USO shows for more than 65 years. More than 500 military personnel and family members will be in attendance for A SALUTE TO THE TROOPS AND USO, and a copy of the show will be donated to the Armed Forces Network. The special, which is set to air Sunday, Nov. 19, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), on TBS, is produced by HBO Independent Productions, with Bob Crestani and Rocco Urbisci serving as executive producers.

We are proud to honor those who are putting their lives on the line to protect American freedom around the world through A SALUTE TO THE TROOPS AND USO, said Michael Wright, senior vice president of original programming for TBS and sister network TNT. This tribute to our troops is going to be a night to remember, with a special tribute to legendary comedian Bob Hope. And with Thanksgiving coming just a few days later, its a perfect opportunity for us to say thanks to the troops and the USO for everything they do.

The USO is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide morale, welfare and recreation services to this countrys men and women in uniform. The original intent of Congress and enduring style of USO delivery is to represent the American people by extending a touch of home to the military. Overseas centers are located in Germany, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Qatar, Korea, Afghanistan, Guam and Kuwait. Service members and their families visit USO centers more than 5.6 million times each year.

A SALUTE TO THE TROOPS AND USO is being presented as part of HBO and AEG LIVEs The Comedy Festival, taking place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Tuesday, Nov. 14-Saturday, Nov. 18. TBS is serving as title sponsor the five-day event, which will feature more than 50 performances, events and screenings. The mission of The Comedy Festival is to bring together the biggest stars and cutting-edge comedy talent in a broad range of programming, from star-level performances and special events to stand-up, sketch comedy and film.
