Open Casting Call For Season 5 of 'The Ultimate Fighter'

WHAT:

The UFC and Spike TV will hold an open casting call at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fl. for Season 5 of the wildly popular series, The Ultimate Fighter.

This season the series will be casting mixed martial artists in the Lightweight (155) division.

WHEN:

Friday, December 1 at 9:00am

Media encouraged to arrive at 8:30am

UFC President Dana White will oversee the tryouts with executive producer

Din Thomas and Charles McCarthy from The Ultimate Fighter 4: The Comeback

will be in attendance as well

WHY:

Season 5 of The Ultimate Fighter, one of television's most popular series with men begins taping in Las Vegas in January. Over the first 4 seasons, the show has delivered about 2 million viewers each week, often beating the NBA, NHL, MLB, and NCAA football and basketball head-to-head on Thursday nights with Men 18-34.
