Nationally Syndicated Reality Courtroom Show Eye for an Eye Gets Green Light for Season Four

Charleston, SC, 11 January 2007 Atlas Worldwide Syndications & Distributions announced today that its nationally syndicated reality courtroom series, Eye for an Eye, returns for the fourth season of production. Im thrilled, Producer Scott Kirkpatrick said, Judge Extreme Akims courtroom provides me with one of the most entertaining experiences in my production career.

The decision to move forward resulted from a strong performance in the 2006 November 2006 Sweeps. Eye for an Eyes numbers are higher than most mainstream shows, Sales and Marketing Consultant David Stephani said. Were nailing our demographics, and the enthusiasm from both fans and our stations has been overwhelming. The decision to go forward was a no-brainer.

After reviewing fan feedback and conducting focus groups, Eye for an Eye underwent changes to its format. We explored what the audience wanted out of the program, and made changes to create a stronger product, Kirkpatrick said.

The new format includes two court cases in one 30-minute episode as well as legal advice from Judge Extreme Akim concluding each episode. We wanted to maximize the shows content by incorporating two court cases in one episode, Kirkpatrick said.

Atlas Worldwide is the only successful independent distributor in the U.S. to break through the corporate barrier and nationally syndicate a court television strip program. We work hard to create deals that are financially feasible for stations, Senior Vice President Matt Slechter said. Understanding stations needs and how we can meet them is our priority.

Eye for an Eye now appears on television stations from group leaders such as Tribune, Sinclair, Raycom, Viacom, LIN TV, Clear Channel, Belo Corp., ACME, Equity, Hearst-Argyle, Weigel, Meredith, Barrington, Roberts Communications, Granite, Hubbard, Shooting Star, Emmis, Entravision, Media General, Winston and Scripps.

For more information on other television programs in Atlas library, check out their website www.atlasworldwide.net. To view Eye for an Eye daily, check out your local listing or view the www.eyeforaneyetv.com to find out more information.
