ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (FOX)/TWO AND A HALF MEN (CBS) - "Arrested Development" creator Mitch Hurwitz is set to team with "Two and a Half Men" executive producers Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum to form a new production company. The trio have signed a three-year pact with Sony Pictures Television to develop new series projects exclusively for the studio via their new banner. Said deal, valued at more than $3 million per year, takes effect in June when the Tannenbaums' current deal with Warner Bros. Television expires.
MARLOWE (ABC) - The Alphabet's 21st century take on Raymond Chandler's noir detective has been ordered to pilot. Greg Pruss and Carol Wolper are behind the Touchstone Television-based hour, which they'll write and executive produce alongside Daniel H. Blatt, Daniel Pipski and LivePlanet's Sean Bailey. Chorion Limited, the rights-holder to the Chandler estate, will also receive a producing credit.

PUSHING DAISIES (ABC) - Bryan Fuller's romance-themed drama, about a man who can touch dead people and bring them back to life, has been given a pilot commitment by the Alphabet. Fuller penned the pilot script to the Warner Bros. Television-based hour and is executive producing alongside Bruce Cohen and Dan Jinks via their Jinks-Cohen Company.

ZIP (NBC, New!) - Mark Rizzo has scored a pilot order from the Peacock for a new single-camera comedy about a grifter dad and his kids who try to live the "good life" in Beverly Hills. NBC Universal Television and Ben Silverman's Reveille are behind the half-hour, which will be executive produced by Silverman, Teri Weinberg and Marc Abrams and Michael Benson via their Reveille-based Catapult. Rizzo, who wrote the pilot script, will also serve as a supervising producer.
