Episode Will Stream Exclusively on Yahoo TV! Beginning January 16

January 16, 2007 (Burbank, CA) - The CW Network and CBS Paramount Television will stream a never-before-seen episode of the critically acclaimed comedy "Everybody Hates Chris" on Yahoo! TV (http://tv.yahoo.com/) for one week prior to its network debut, it was announced by Rick Haskins, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy, The CW.

"Everybody Hates Chris is one of television's true comedy gems, and we want to shine as bright a spotlight as we can on this funny, relatable family comedy," said Haskins. "Whether it's on-air or online, our goal is to give viewers every opportunity to discover this wonderful show."

The episode, entitled "Everybody Hates Eggs," will be offered free-of-charge and without commercial interruption on Yahoo! beginning January 16. In the episode, which airs on The CW on Monday, January 22 (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET), Chris (Tyler James Williams) and Greg (Vincent Martella) get a classroom lesson on parenting when they are each assigned an egg to care for as if it were their own child.

"Everybody Hates Chris" has earned wide critical recognition and garnered Emmy nominations, a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Series - Comedy, a People's Choice nomination for Favorite New Television Comedy, eight NAACP Image Award nominations, three Family Friendly Programming Awards and four Teen Choice Awards, including Choice Comedy.

"Everybody Hates Chris" is inspired by comedian Chris Rock's childhood experiences. Rock narrates this hilarious, touching story of a teenager growing up the eldest of three children in Brooklyn, New York, during the early 1980s. The series airs Mondays (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET) on The CW.

Co-creator and narrator Chris Rock ("Head of State"), co-creator and writer Ali LeRoi ("Head of State"), Michael Rotenberg ("King of the Hill") and Dave Becky ("Lucky Louie") are executive producers.
